The masses need to be educated about cardohydrates to realize how their misconceptions can actually be doing
them more harm than good. Many may find it difficult to understand, but all will be explained about the two types
of carbohydrates there are, the ‘good’ (or complex) and ‘bad’ (or simple). Below we will describe the differences
in each and why you should embrace the good carbohydrates and avoid the bad. If this is followed, your body will
maintain it’s required nutrition and energy and ensure quick weight loss!
Not all carbohydrates are the same. There are two different types: complex and simple carbohydrates. Eating
either will give your body different results.
Complex Carbohydrates provide the energy required before, during and after any exercise. You need fuel that will
keep your energy levels up for the entire exercise, this is why athletes prefer complex carbohydrates.
Carbohydrates fuel the body and there are different grades of carbohydrates that give different results. Complex
carbs are less likely to spike the blood sugar, the way a bar of chocolate may do. You are full of energy one
minute and tired the next. Instead, complex carbohydrates maintain an even level of blood sugar. This prevents
hunger and cravings, but the complex carbs give you energy throughout the day. As the day goes on, no matter what
activity you are performing, you will have the energy to do it. So forget the low Carb diets!
