10. Do not rush your food when eating, take your time.  The body is not quick to signal when you are full, hence you can easily over-eat. 

  

11. A great snack is grated carrot, which can fill you up more than a whole carrot.  

  

12. If possible, only use whole grains, as they help with your digestion and will make feel fuller. 

  

13. Its better to pick food that must be chewed, as this increases fiber intake.  An example of this would be to eat fruit, as opposed to drinking juice.  

  

14. Plan your shopping. Make a list that covers your meals and snacks for each day and stick to it.  Don’t just grab something when you feel hungry, stick to your diet.
