Below we have a number of tips that will sky rocket you metabolism and eat your fat stores for you to lose body fat:

1. Build lean muscle. The body's natural aging process will cause metabolism to decrease, but this can be counter-acted through exercise.  The more muscle the body has, the more energy it uses to maintain that muscle, hence burn calories and lose body fat.  You really should work out 2 to 3 times a week at least, and preferably using weights.  When using weights, the body continues to burn body fat even after you have left the gym.  You should then do cardio training on the other days, walking, running, up and down stairs, anything that will increase you activity levels.

For strength training

 -Add the appropriate level of resistance and increase the weight over time
 -Increase the amount of repetitions of a particular exercise.

9. Try to prevent stress, as it releases a natural steroid called cortisol in the body, which decreases metabolism. It has also been known for people to 'pig out' when under stress.

10. Try green tea instead of coffee, as tea can stimulate metabolism, but with no undesirable side effects when too much is consumed.

11. Get more fat burning energy foods into your diet, such as fruits and vegetables, beans and whole grains.
